Here’s what I’ve done so far:

Wrote For the Love of Board Games, a book that explores how modern, popular board games were created by interviewing the designers behind the games. The book ended up raising over $56,000 on Kickstarter with over 2,000 backers. More than 50 board game designers were interviewed for the book.

Filmed, directed, and edited The Board Game Boom, a documentary that explores the recent rise in tabletop gaming by interviewing board game industry experts to uncover why board game purchases are rising in an increasingly digital culture. The documentary has over 40,000 organic views on YouTube.

Currently founding the National Board Game Museum in St. Louis, Missouri. Our evolving mission is to educate, inspire, and entertain visitors, fans, players, and scholars by collecting, preserving, and exhibiting board games.

Social Media Manager for Lucky Duck Games, July 2018 to Present

  • Creates original content for social media channels

  • Assists with customer support

  • Increased Facebook from 3,700 to 8,300 likes

  • Manages playtesting and prototyping process

  • Oversees some of the game production process


Board Member for Meeples for Peeples, January 2019 to Present

Meeples for Peeples is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in St. Louis, Missouri. Our mission is to collect and distribute board games to children's hospitals, board game clubs, educators, group homes, low income families, military families, VA hospitals, senior centers, ESL programs, and deployed military personnel.
